Clay Date "Wheel Throwing 101"
Friday Nights 7-10pm / BYOB / $50
Clay Date Night in St. Louis is fun, romantic, spontaneous and a great place to celebrate! Learn the basics of Wheel Throwing and have a little fun! Clay, glaze & firing is included in class fee. You will spend 1/2 of your time learning to throw on the potters wheel and the other half of class is spent watching a demonstration, working with a partner and more.

There are multiple pathways to the Potter's Wheel at SBAP. Attend a Friday Night Clay Date or BUY a 12 or 28 hour pass to Open Workshop. You can also host your own private wheel throwing workshop or event for kids or adults! Practice makes perfect and process over product has never been more fun!
Look no further for a great location for your next Birthday-Anniversary-Shower-Meeting-Luncheon or Kids Birthday Party, occasions for creating are endless. We offer two and three hour event options for hand-building and wheel throwing, Tuesdays thru Sundays. SBAP provides a totally unique experience you won't find anywhere else in all of St. Louis! A portion of the proceeds from every event benefits the scholarship program for Teen Apprenticeships...
Sit back, relax and let us do all the creative work for your kids next birthday party! We provide the most creative options for kids parties in St. Louis. Birthday Partiers will love getting their hands messy making their very own custom designed mug, pottery or sculpture as well as opportunities to paint their own pottery. Feel free to bring pizza, snacks, treats or cake. SBAP provides lemonade, plates, cups, napkins, utensils. Let us make your next birthday party the most memorable yet!
TAP Teen Apprenticeships are a scholarship program for 6th-12th grade. Students engage with a working artist that provides a diverse repertoire of skills to add to their future high school, college and work submissions. Apprenticeships are offered for Pottery and Fashion Design.

We will email you a pdf "Gift Certificate Artwork" to print and fill out as you wish! We email certificate art-work within 24-48 hours and during the holidays we try to get it to you within just a few hours! Certificate Art-work will be emailed until 10am on December 24th and will resume on December 26th.
