At SBAP we are committed to improving the lives of Saint Louis kids, teens, adults, residents, visitors and volunteers of different neighborhoods, different jobs, identities and backgrounds. We provide affordable and free Pottery Classes and Open Workshop , Summer Camps, Clay Date Nights, as well as fashion design and sewing workshops. We can change lives and community through art!
Clay Date "Wheel Throwing 101"

Clay Date Night is a totally unique date night experience in St. Louis! Bring your mom, partner, friends or co-workers. Whether you are a beginner at the wheel or just brushing up on techniques, we will meet you at your level. Register for June, July & August today....

Wheel Throwing & Hand-Building
Thurs-Fri 2-10 pm & Saturdays 12-6pm
Lunch hour. After work. After school. After dinner. Bring your mom, kids, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Step-by-step instruction for all levels age 5-adult! Open Workshop gives flexibility to drop-in or reserve studio time. Learn more about the 2Two Hour MaKe-A-Mug Workshop or take your learning to the next level with 5, 12 or 28 hour passes...
Clay Camp at SBAP is a one-of-a-kind camp that takes place in a real pottery studio. Clay Campers will spend part of their day hand-building, and part of their day learning to throw on the potters wheel. All camps are one week in length Monday thru Friday, register for each week individually.
For the past 10 years SBAP has hosted Summer Fashion Design Camps. Summer Camp 2019 is focusing on "ECOTURE" a sustainable fashion trend where will learn about slow fashion, fast fashion, up-cycling, creative re-use, and last but not least The Fashion Revolution! Scholarships are available too!
TAP Teen Apprenticeships are a scholarship program for 6th-12th grade. Students engage with a working artist that provides a diverse repertoire of skills to add to their future high school, college and work submissions. Apprenticeships are offered for Pottery and Fashion Design.
It is our belief that everyone should have their own hand-made artisanal mug and why not make it yourself.... Will you make a tea cup, soup mug, coffee or hot chocolate mug? Everyone loves pottery painting and MaKing their own Mug, Cup or Bowl! Visit the 2 Two Hour MaKe-A-Mug Workshop to learn more about pottery classes...
Sit back, relax and let us do all the creative work for your kids next birthday party! We provide the most creative options for kids parties in St. Louis. Birthday Partiers will love getting their hands in clay making their own custom designed mug, cup, bowl or sculpture as well as opportunities to paint their own pottery or learn how to throw on the potters wheel.
