Clay Date Night is a totally unique date night experience in St. Louis! Bring your mom, partner, friends or co-workers. Whether you are a beginner at the wheel or just brushing up on techniques, we will meet you at your level. Watch a demonstration, work with a partner and more... Practice makes perfect and process over product has never been more fun!

Paint your own pottery and Glaze a handmade Mug, Cup or Bowl at South Broadway Art Project! Feel free to Bring-Your-Own-Drinks and Snacks.

SBAP has plates, cups, napkins, utensils, openers, and glasses. All students must be 21+ and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Due to Covid-19 eating and drinking indoors is kept to a minimum. Students are welcome to take drinks outside to the front patio or the SBAP Gallery. All students must wear a mask while in the studio.

Usually all glazed pottery is ready for pick-up 1-2 weeks after you made it or glazed it, but sometimes it is longer.  Be sure to see below if your glazed pottery is ready for pick-up before making a special trip to the studio. We DO NOT send email and text notifications when your pottery is ready. 

ACTS OF KILN GODS

Much of pottery is all about using proper techniques to achieve desired results. Sometimes, circumstances beyond our control arise when handling student pottery and kiln firings. While we teach students to prioritize process over product, we will also always go above and beyond to help you achieve that final product,  even when it means we must start over and try again. If your pottery doesn't make it, we will give you the option to replace it with something else already made or to come back and try again.   Usually all glazed pottery is ready for pick-up in 1-2 weeks but sometimes it is longer. Be sure to click here on the pottery pick-up page to see if your glazed pottery is ready for pick-up before making a special trip to the studio.
