We hope you can visit our studio and shop soon to learn more about our totally unique approach to pottery painting. SBAP is a fully functioning pottery studio in St. Louis and features professional potter's glazes and ceramics painting. All pottery is fired to cone 6 which is stoneware, food safe and dishwasher safe.

ACTS OF KILN GODS
Much of pottery is all about using proper techniques to achieve desired results. Sometimes, circumstances beyond our control arise when handling student pottery and kiln firings. While we teach students to prioritize process over product, we will also always go above and beyond to help you achieve that final product, even when it means we must start over and try again. If your pottery doesn't make it, we will give you the option to replace it with something else already made or to come back and try again. Usually all glazed pottery is ready for pick-up in 1-2 weeks but sometimes it is longer. A portion of the proceeds raised from every mug, cup or bowl helps support community focused programming at SBAP such as 100% tuition free GAP Girls Apprenticeship Project as well as affordable and accessible programming at Pottery Open Workshop.
