Clay Date Night is a totally unique date night experience in St. Louis! Bring your mom, partner, friends or co-workers. Whether you are a beginner at the wheel or just brushing up on techniques, we will meet you at your level. Watch a demonstration, work with a partner and more... Practice makes perfect and process over product has never been more fun!
Please arrive on time as class starts promptly at 7pm. Students are welcome to take breaks during class and BYOB in the adjoining Gallery or on the front patio. We do not give refunds for missed, skipped or cancelled classes and reserve the option to reschedule classes if needed. Students have the option to reschedule up to 14 days before your class. If you have an issue with attendance outside of the 14 days give us a call and if we have someone to take your spots in class we certainly will try to accommodate.
We ask all students to wear a mask before entering SBAP as well as during your whole class time. We will be taking temperatures upon entry and students with a 99.5 or higher temperature with not be admitted. Please monitor your symptoms and if you have a cough, sore throat, fever, or other flu like symptoms please stay home and reschedule your class for another date. Students are asked to sanitize your hands when entering studio and before working with clay.
$50 per person covers: clay, glaze & firing. Due to Covid-19, class size is limited to 10 students. At this time there is no BYOB indoors due to Covid-19 however students are welcome to take BYOB outside to tables on the front patio.
During 3 hours of instruction you will learn the basics of wheel throwing. Students can pick-a-color for their two favorite pieces from the class.
Pottery pick-up is two weeks from the class date on Sat & Sun 10-6.

YOU can come back in 2 weeks to paint and glaze your own pottery for just $10 a person! YOU can choose from over 40+ colors. Pay at registration or at the studio.
Pottery will be dipped in studio glaze by the instructor. Glaze colors can vary but usually are: sage, cobalt, iron red, white, and turquoise. Wait 2 weeks from Saturday to come back for pottery pick-up.
